What is iCell?
iCell is a 3D visualisation app of the cell.
How does it work?
This app is based on 3D images of the cell, which are generated using a scanning electron microscope. The cell is divided into different parts, which are shown in different colors. Each part has a name and a short description.
By tapping a part, you can zoom in on that particular organelle. You can also rotate the cell by dragging your finger around the screen. You can zoom in and out by pinching the screen with your fingers.
The app is designed to be used on the iPhone, but it will work on the iPad as well.
